David Paul, ALIRT Insurance Research
David Paul is a principal at ALIRT Insurance Research, a firm specializing in the analysis of insurance company financial performance trends and member of the Insurance Networks Alliance. ALIRT’s quarterly insight into the underlying financial strength of insurers allows distributors and buyers of insurance products to anticipate financial stress and/or rating downgrades of insurance partners before they occur.
David was a founding member of ALIRT Insurance Research (1999), building out the company’s domestic life, property/casualty and health insurance company analytical models/services as well as ALIRT’s international models for Lloyd’s of London and Bermuda. David co-directs the company’s research staff, manages internal IT initiatives and new product development, and is active in the industry as an author and public speaker.
David graduated with a BA in classical studies from Washington University, St. Louis and lives with his wife and two children in central Connecticut. In his free time, David enjoys playing music and tennis, reading, and puttering about the house.
